Rumor: Fall Out Boy To Release New Single “Centuries” Next Month

Guess what, Fall Out Boy fans – your favorite four-piece may be about to release a new single. According to Fuel Your Speakers, Fall Out Boy is set to release a song called “Centuries” in September, and it is supposed to be the lead single from their upcoming 6th studio album. The album is expected to be released later this year or in early 2015.

Music insider Toby Knapp tweeted about the song earlier this summer – perhaps those are some lyrics?

And that’s not all – Fall Out Boy is also shooting a Roman themed music video. You can see a casting call below, asking for actors of various ages and races:

Centuries Casting

If this is indeed true, that’s quite the speedy release – Fall Out Boy’s last album, Save Rock And Roll, only came out a year ago in April 2013. But the band has never taken much time between albums, so this untitled 6th album sounds like it’s right on schedule.

Earlier this summer, Pete Wentz mentioned that they were already writing new songs. He also expressed their desire to release the new songs by the end of this year. With this new information, Fall Out Boy seems to be sticking to that plan.

Keep checking back here for more Fall Out Boy news – with “Centuries” and the 6th album approaching soon, there will be plenty more happening in the coming months!
