Kelly Clarkson Unveils “Wrapped In Red” Music Video
Last month Kelly Clarkson revealed she was filming a music video for her new Christmas single, “Wrapped In Red.” (She posted an adorable picture of her with her baby daughter, too!) Now, just in time for the holidays, we can get into the holiday cheer with her new video. It premiered on Amazon yesterday, and is now available to watch worldwide. Check it out:
“Wrapped In Red” has an old-style, classic look to it, with shots of Kelly singing into a vintage vocal microphone interspersed with home movie quality clips of kids playing in the snow. The effects give the sense that this video has been played over and over, as it loses focus and turns fuzzy before fading into a new scene.
This song comes from Kelly’s holiday album of the same name. Wrapped In Red was released in October 2013, and was led with the single “Underneath The Tree.” This year’s single is “Wrapped In Red,” and next month, Kelly will be hosting her first annual charity concert, Miracle On Broadway. The concert will feature guests artists including Hayley Williams of Paramore, Reba McEntire, and Trisha Yearwood, among others.
In addition to holiday merriment, Kelly Clarkson is also getting ready to release her next studio album. Her lead single is coming out in January, and the album is expected this spring. She also has a surprise mystery duet on there and some kind of puzzle theme, so hopefully we’ll get some more details soon!
