“Boom!” Simple Plan Is Back With A Fun Music Video From Upcoming Album
Simple Plan is back with a bang! After spending the last year writing and recording their anticipated 5th studio album, the Canadian quintet is ready to share their new music with you. While the first new song we heard was the youthful “Saturday” in June, Simple Plan’s lead single is a track called “Boom!” The band debuted “Boom!” last November when they played a live acoustic version, and they performed it again at the AP Awards last month. Now, we finally have the studio version and a music video to go with it.
“Boom!” is a love song for all the couples that have stood the test of time. Even after all these years, the love is as strong as ever. For the music video, Simple Plan decided to demonstrate their love for their fans and other bands. The video features concert footage with hundreds of dedicated fans, as well as cameos from quite a few bands. You can buy “Boom!” on iTunes now. It will appear on Simple Plan’s still-unnamed 5th studio album. The record was expected out later this year, though Alternative Press is now reporting that it won’t be released until early 2016.
