Kelly Clarkson Soars On “Never Enough” From ‘The Greatest Showman’
Last month, fans of the musical film The Greatest Showman – and music fans overall – were excited to learn of the upcoming compilation album, The Greatest Showman – Reimagined. Featuring songs from the original film, the new album includes covers by a range of popular artists. Following P!nk’s cover of “A Million Dreams” and Panic! At The Disco’s rendition “The Greatest Show,” our final preview of the new album is Kelly Clarkson’s performance of “Never Enough.”
When watching The Greatest Showman, it was clear that “Never Enough” would be the perfect song for Kelly. Her newly released version of the ballad exceeds expectations, showcasing her emotion and range. Kelly flits between delicate head voice and powerful chest voice, highlighting the song’s sentiments. Piano and flute open the song, but it grows as percussion and strings add to the energy.
“Never Enough” comes with a lyric video, highlighting the love song’s glittering imagery. Watch the lyric video for “Never Enough” below:
You can stream or download “Never Enough” from all the top music providers here. The full album will be out in just one week on November 16th. You’ll definitely want to hear The Greatest Showman – Reimagined once it’s out. In addition to Kelly Clarkson, it also features covers by Panic! At The Disco, P!nk, Sara Bareilles, and more. “Never Enough” isn’t Kelly’s first foray into musical compilations. She also covered “It’s Quiet Uptown” for Hamilton Mixtape in 2016.
(Sara Bareilles, who also has a song on The Greatest Showman – Reimagined, just added her voice to Hamilton with “Theodosia Reprise” as last month’s “Hamildrop.”)
