Andrew McMahon Announces New Band “Andrew McMahon in the Wilderness”
Andrew McMahon is well-known within the music industry. He fronted the pop punk band Something Corporate in the early 2000s, and then formed the band Jack’s Mannequin in 2004. Both groups have since disbanded, and Andrew McMahon released an EP under his own name last year.
Now Andrew McMahon has announced his new band name: Andrew McMahon in the Wilderness. As with Andrew’s past band and name changes, this new group should mark a new musical direction. Andrew describes his “wilderness” as abstract, but fans will find his ever-present keyboard and “desire to make my best music” familiar and welcome.
