Fall Out Boy To Release “Centuries” Next Week
Remember that rumor about Fall Out Boy releasing a new single called “Centuries” this month? It’s true! And it’s coming sooner than we thought.
Yesterday, Fall Out Boy suddenly blacked out their social media, using a blank black square as their profile picture on Facebook. They then updated a mysterious 6-second video with nothing but morse code beeps.
Some smart fans were able to decipher the code: “Centuries.” At midnight it was all revealed – Fall Out Boy is releasing a new single called “Centuries” on Monday, September 8th.
There were murmurs of this new single a few weeks ago. Apparently the band already filmed a Roman-themed video for the new song. Furthermore, “Centuries” is rumored to be the lead single from Fall Out Boy’s 6th album, expected late this year or in early 2015. Pete Wentz already revealed that they were working on new music and hoping to release it this year.
So far, Fall Out Boy has not confirmed if a new album is coming out, let alone a title or release date. But we should know very soon, so stay tuned.
You can pre-order “Centuries” on iTunes now. Keep checking back here for more updates on Fall Out Boy’s new music.
