Kelly Clarkson’s New Album Coming in April or May 2015

A few weeks ago, Kelly Clarkson confirmed that her upcoming 6th studio album would be released in early 2015. Then, in a radio interview last week, she revealed that a new single would be out as early as January! And now we have more new information: In about 6 months, we will have Kelly Clarkson’s new studio album. Let that sink in. That’s not so far away!

On Sunday, October 19th, Kelly played a concert in Charlotte, North Carolina, as part of a Microsoft store opening. Some lucky fans had the chance to meet her, and Kelly told a couple of them some exclusive news about her album.

One girl named Holly reported this, which her friend then shared on Twitter:

Another fan named Mandie also met Kelly, and said “either late March/early April or late April/early May.” Kelly will also embark on a tour next summer in support of the new album.

Spring may seem like a ways off, but we’ll have plenty of Kelly in our lives until then. She just recorded a music video for her new holiday single, “Wrapped In Red” – that should be out within a few weeks. Kelly is also hosting a special benefit concert in Nashville called Miracle On Broadway, and will feature plenty of big-name guest stars.

And then next year the new music comes by way of a lead single in January. Given the time between the first single and the supposed album release, there could even be time for a second new single before the record drops. We have a lot to look forward to over the next few months!

For now, you can check out a full recap of everything that’s gone into making Kelly’s 6th album, and look at a list of songs that could make the album. (One will be a duet with a mystery male – no word yet on who, though!) Keep coming back here for more of the latest news on Kelly Clarkson’s new music.
