Fall Out Boy Shares Another “Irresistible” New Song
Fall Out Boy is ready to start the new year with yet another new song from their upcoming album. We’ve already heard 4 songs off of American Beauty/American Psycho, but with only two weeks to go before the record drops, it’s time to hear “Irresistible.” This is an uptempo track that’s more pop than rock. It has plenty of singalong whoas and ays, backed by a horn refrain. The only thing that slows down “Irresistible” is the lovely piano breakdown just before the choruses. This is a song that gets better with each listen. Check it out below:
You can read what Fall Out Boy had to say about “Irresistible” when they introduced it last night:
Considering that they’ve stuck true to their promise of new music on January 5th, we can expect another new track ahead of the album release next week:
New album coming out in 3.5 weeks, new music coming on 1/5 & 1/12…and something else big coming soon too!

“Irresistible” follows Fall Out Boy’s singles “Centuries” and “American Beauty/American Psycho,” plus their tracks “Immortals” and “The Kids Aren’t Alright.” American Beauty/American Psycho will be released on January 20th, but you can pre-order it on iTunes now and get instant downloads of all of the songs except “Immortals.”
While we impatiently await new music coming on January 12th, followed by the full record on January 20th, you can catch up on everything that’s gone into making the new album. Keep checking back here for all the latest Fall Out Boy music news.
