Andrew McMahon Releases Personal New Version Of “Cecilia And The Satellite” Video

Andrew McMahon In The Wilderness released his self-titled debut album last fall. The previous Something Corporate and Jack’s Mannequin frontman changed stylistic direction, as can be heard with the first single, “Cecilia And The Satellite.” The song is an ode to his baby daughter, and she appeared in the official music video that came out back in December.

Now Andrew has released a new “Day In The Life” version of the music video, featuring more footage of baby Cecilia and his wife, Kelly. We see the young family on the tour bus, walking through the city, and at the venue as Andrew plays a concert with his band. It’s a sweet video that captures the inspiration of the song beautifully. See it below:

Andrew McMahon In The Wilderness came out in October, and is a fantastic album that harkens back to Andrew’s earlier themes from the first Jack’s Mannequin record. It features “Cecilia And The Satellite,” as well as other buzz songs like “High Dive” and “See Her On The Weekend.” You can get the album on iTunes now.
