Hilary Duff Shares New Single “Sparks” From Upcoming Album

Two weeks ago Hilary Duff revealed that she had a new pop single coming soon. She gave us just a preview of “Sparks,” which was co-written by Tove Lo, but it was enough to get us excited.

Now you can hear the full version of “Sparks” in all its whistling, dancey glory. It harkens back to Hilary’s Dignity days eight years ago, and it’s a sound that still works perfectly for her today. “Sparks” has the upbeat new love mood of “All About You,” but trades out the folk pop vibes for something a little more slick. It’s an infectious song that will be stuck on repeat after the first listen – you’ve been warned!

Hear “Sparks” below:

“Sparks” will be released on iTunes tonight. It’s the newest single from Hilary’s long anticipated new studio album. It doesn’t have a confirmed release date yet, but it should be out later this spring or early in the summer. The album will also include her 2014 single “All About You,” and possibly her buzz track “Chasing The Sun.” Another confirmed title is her ode to her son Luca, called “This Heart” – that song was registered on ASCAP in May 2014. It was written by Hilary, Toby Gad, and Lindy Robbins.

You can read up on everything we know about Hilary’s new album, and check out a list of known song titles. With “Sparks” just released and a music video around the corner – not to mention her upcoming studio album – there will be plenty of music news from Hilary in the coming months. Keep checking back here for all the latest on Hilary Duff.
