Hilary Duff Dishes On New ‘Breathe In. Breathe Out.’ Songs
Hilary Duff’s new album, Breathe In. Breathe Out., will be out in under two weeks, and considering how infectious her single “Sparks” is, it’s bound to be a great record. Hilary just described some of her new songs in a Twitter Q&A last night. Here are some of the music-related highlights:

What’s Hilary’s favorite song on the new album? “One In A Million” is a song she worked on with Tove Lo in Sweden earlier this year. Tove Lo also had a hand in writing Hilary’s new single, “Sparks.” “Brave Heart” is a song that Hilary did last summer; it was registered in the fall, but we do have a snippet of the song posted by Jerrod Bettis:

In episode 9 of Hilary’s new TV series, Younger, one of her new songs can be heard. Fans have been buzzing about what it could be. Now we know it’s “Outlaw,” a song Hilary worked on early in the recording process. She did the song in fall 2013. It won’t be on her album, but hopefully it’ll see some form of release in the future. At least we have 30 seconds of it for now:

Hilary’s Younger character, Kelsey, is a little bit wild. According to Hilary, “My Kind” and “Night Like This” (which features Kendall Schmidt) would fit Kelsey pretty well. These sound like fun, party songs! But don’t worry – Breathe In. Breathe Out. will also have its fair share of emotional ballads as well.
“Sparks” is a fun song, and it sounds like the rest of Breathe In. Breathe Out. will be well worth the 8 year wait since Hilary’s last album, Dignity. In case you missed it, here’s the track list for her new record:
