Lana Del Rey’s “Music To Watch Boys To” Gets Enchanting, Tropical Video
Lana Del Rey just released her fourth studio album, Honeymoon, on September 18th. It’s a stunning blend of Born To Die and Ultraviolence, and mixes old-style jazz and grandiosity with subdued “muddy trap.” Lana’s latest single, “Music To Watch Boys To,” is one of the highlights on Honeymoon. With a lush, jungle atmosphere and rich instrumentation, it’s the kind of song that will transport you to another place and time.
Its new music video does exactly that: “Music To Watch Boys To” shows Lana lounging in a tropical retreat, sipping on her fruity drink while listening to tunes through her jungle flower headphones. These scenes are interrupted by shots of girls swimming in clear blue water, boys playing basketball and skateboarding, and pink flamingos flying across the landscape. The music video beautifully captures what the song paints in you head. Check out “Music To Watch Boys To” below:
