Andrew McMahon’s “Cecilia And The Satellite” Music Video Gets Peter Pan Update
Andrew McMahon In The Wilderness has been getting plenty of recognition for his debut album’s lead single, “Cecilia And The Satellite.” The song has been steadily gaining attention since its release last year, and now appears in the new Warner Brothers remake of Peter Pan. In conjunction with the recent release of the movie, “Cecilia And The Satellite” is now getting its third music video, this time featuring plenty of Pan movie scenes interspersed with footage of Andrew with his baby daughter, Cecilia, from the original 2014 video. Pan just came out in the US last Friday. It tells the origin story of how Peter Pan met Captain Hook, prior to involving Wendy Darling and her brothers.
“Cecilia And The Satellite” appears on Andrew’s self-titled debut album, Andrew McMahon In The Wilderness. It is his first full-length release outside of Jack’s Mannequin and Something Corporate; you can get the album on iTunes now. “High Dive” is set to released as the second single from the record.
