Simple Plan Announces New Album ‘Taking One For The Team’ Out In February
After months of teasing and fun singles, Simple Plan is finally ready to announce the title and release date of their upcoming 5th studio album: Taking One For The Team will be out on February 19, 2016. The long-awaited album has been in the making for more than a year, and early estimates predicted the album would be out in summer 2015. Although we got four new songs this year, the rest will have to wait until the new year.
Taking One For The Team will include three of this year’s singles: The smooth “I Don’t Wanna Go To Bed” featuring Nelly, the soulful “I Don’t Wanna Be Sad,” and the punk love song “Boom.” Simple Plan have also mentioned a handful of other tracks that are likely to appear on the new record. Songs like “Everything Sucks,” “I Refuse” and “Kiss Me Like Nobody’s Watching” should be on Taking One For The Team. The single “Saturday,” however, will NOT be on the record. Simple Plan will be recording four more songs for the album, but the full track listing should be announced soon.
