Natasha Bedingfield has been in the studio for the better part of four years, but it looks like we may get some new music soon now! The singer just revealed on Instagram that she’d filmed a video for a “surprise project.” Very exciting! What’s more, she included the hashtag #unicorn. Does that little clue mean a new song? Back in October 2013, a new song title appeared on ASCAP called “Unicorn” – Natasha had written it with Toby Gad and Belgian musician Jef Martens (aka Basto). Could the song “Unicorn” be part of this special project?
Natasha Bedingfield did not reveal a timeframe for when the surprise project would be ready; we’re guessing sometime in the next month or two. It may be a music video for a new song called “Unicorn,” or it may be something else entirely – time will tell!
Last year, Natasha released a charity single called “Hope” as part of a partnership with the skin care brand, Philosophy. She also released a studio version of “Love Song To The Earth,” featuring vocals from over a dozen well known artists like Paul McCartney and Fergie. Natasha has been writing and recording new music since spring 2012, working on the follow up to her 2010 album, Strip Me. Be sure to read up on all that’s gone into making the new record, including known song titles and collaborators. Keep checking back here for all the latest Natasha Bedingfield music news.
