BANKS Shares Excellent New Song, “Gemini Feed”

BANKS is getting ready to release her sophomore album, The Altar, next month. She first teased the new music with the song “Better” late in 2015, and then released a music video for the new song, “F–k With Myself” a few weeks ago. Today we get our third taste of the album with “Gemini Feed.”

“Gemini Feed” is the most instantly addictive song we’ve heard so far, and it’s on par with the highlights from BANKS’ first album, Goddess. The song starts with a direction to “open up your eyes,” as BANKS complains of a passive aggressive lover. But BANKS is no pushover, and her self-assured energy shines through. “Gemini Feed” is something of a title track for BANKS’ new album. She mockingly sings, “And to think you would get me to the altar, like I’d follow you around like a dog that needs water.” Listen to “Gemini Feed” below:

BANKS released her stunning first album, Goddess, in 2014. Her second record, The Altar, is scheduled for release this September 30th. It was led by the teaser “Better,” followed by the bold first single, “F–k With Myself.” But our latest taste is the most stunning so far. If “Gemini Feed” is any indication, The Altar will be one of the highlights of the year.
