Bruno Mars Is Back With New Song & Album, “24K Magic”

Bruno Mars is finally back. It’s been four long years since he released his last album, Unorthodox Jukebox. And while we’ve enjoyed singles more recently than that (especially his Mark Ronson collaboration, “Uptown Funk”), his third album is long overdue. Luckily, the wait is now over. Bruno Mars just released his new single, “24K Magic,” from his upcoming album of the same name. And like “Uptown Funk,” this song is upbeat, funky, and impossibly catchy.

“24K Magic” is a materialistic anthem that comes off as fun rather than annoying. Bruno instructs you to “put your pinky rings up to the moon” over a sparkling, dancey beat. The song’s music video reflects the extravagant lifestyle described in the lyrics. Private jets, expensive jewelry, and over-the-top partying turn the song into a celebration. Check out the new song and music video below:

Bruno Mars will release 24K Magic – his highly anticipated third studio album – on November 18th. You can pre-order the album on iTunes now and get an instant download of “24K Magic.” The tracklist remains a mystery other than its title track. The first single is certainly an exciting taste of what’s to come. Bruno seems to be moving into funkier territory, and it already sounds like a perfect fit.

He’s set to perform on SNL next weekend. He’ll likely perform “24K Magic” and another new song from the upcoming album. Stay tuned for more album details – we’ll likely get the tracklist and even another new song before the big day. Keep checking back here for all the latest Bruno Mars news.

Wow, Bruno Mars on Hidden Jams Music? Interesting choice. I was surprised that you add an mainstream artist that was way overplayed on pop radio. You know I don’t like 2014’s Uptown Funk. It’s kinda boring and overrated. I hope there’s no rappers like Lil Wayne as well as adding rock and metal bands like Five Finger Death Punch. Also, make an article about why high quality singles that should get alot of views on Vevo or YouTube. Works well on something like Britney Spears or Justin Timberlake. But I think we need more artists that should get alot more views like Jewel and Michelle Branch. Please, Hidden Jams Music. Make it happen.

Hi Peter, thanks for your comment! 🙂 Don’t worry, we’re still sticking to our pop/rock/alternative focus here, no rap anytime soon! We like Bruno Mars and some other more mainstream artists, but we also love other more rock artists too.

We have lots of big plans for 2017, so look out for more news, reviews, blogs, and more. Oh, and speaking of Michelle Branch, we hear she has a new album coming out this April. Her first solo album in 14 years!
