New All-American Rejects Lyric Video For First Single “Sweat” Coming Next Month

It may be April Fool’s day, but this is not a drill: The All-American Rejects’ first single from their upcoming EP is finished and ready for us! Don’t get too excited – we can’t watch it yet. But frontman Tyson Ritter did confirm that the lyric video is not for their 2016 song, “DGAF.” Instead, the EP’s first single is a new song called “Sweat.”

The band recorded “Sweat” in January this year.

It looks like “Sweat” will be out on Monday, May 1st. Tyson shared a short clip of “Sweat” in February; listen below:

It’s been a long process getting to this point. The band started recording last spring and summer. They entered the studio again this January.

So far, fans have gotten to hear one full new song from the summer sessions. They’ve only played “DGAF” live, but a studio version should be on the new EP. (Unless it was scrapped.) As of December, its music video was planned and coming together.

Tyson has also shared snippets of three songs they recorded in Januarylyrics to a new track, and then one more song preview a few weeks ago.

In only one month, fans will finally get to hear the band’s new EP, starting with “Sweat” as the first single. While we wait for May to arrive, enjoy the Rejects’ latest song, “There’s A Place,” from the film Miss You Already. Look for Tyson in it!
