Lana Del Rey Shares Cover Art For New Album, ‘Lust For Life’

Two weeks ago, Lana Del Rey announced her new album Lust For Life in a witchy trailer. The only song we’ve heard so far is the lead single, “Love,” though we know The Weeknd had a hand in writing the title track. Though Lana still hasn’t revealed the release date (rumor has it the album will be out May 26th), she did share the official cover art today.

The Lust For Life album cover features Lana smiling in front of an old blue pickup. (All of her albums so far show a car on the cover.) She’s wearing a lacy dress with white flowers in he hair – just as she appeared in the “Love” music video. However, Lust For Life also features the original font Lana used for her “Video Games” single back in 2011. Everything from Born To Die to Honeymoon has been in one font, so it’s interesting that Lana chose to return to her roots this time. The new cover art also looks like an updated version of her Born To Die album cover. Check out the official Lust For Life cover art:

Word on the street is Lust For Life will be out on May 26th. Lana has not confirmed this release date. We are also waiting for news about the album’s tracklisting. We expect to see “Love” and the title track, “Lust For Life.”

Lust For Life will serve as the followup to Lana’s 2015 album, Honeymoon. Lana rose to fame with her major label debut, Born To Die, back in 2012. Lana revealed that she made this album for her fans, and it will be intriguing to hear what she’s recorded. Keep checking back hear for all the latest on Lust For Life – including its full tracklisting, confirmed release date, and next single.
