Hear Clip Of ‘Charming’ Song “Trophy Boy” By Avril Lavigne, Ashley Tisdale, & G.E.M.

Back in 2015, news broke that some well-known pop singers will be lending their vocal talents to a new princess movie called Charming. Avril Lavigne voices Snow White, Ashley Tisdale is Cinderella, and G.E.M. acts as Sleeping Beauty. Meanwhile, Demi Lovato is voicing the leading lady, Lenore. Our starring Prince Philippe Charming is played by Wilmer Valderrama.

And as with any good animated film, it also comes with a handful of original songs. Australian singer (and hit songwriter) Sia wrote two songs for the film. She’ll be singing “Balladino” in addition to voicing Half-Oracle in the film. The other Sia-penned song, “Magical,” will be sung by Demi Lovato.

A third new song was written by Patrick Stump of Fall Out Boy. “Trophy Boy” is performed by Avril Lavigne, Ashley Tisdale, and G.E.M. You can hear a clip of it in the new Charming trailer. Listen for “Trophy Boy” in the first half of the trailer below:

The Charming trailer announces that the film is coming soon, although an exact date is not yet confirmed. According to IMDb, the film is set for release on August 4th in South Africa. Most likely, Charming will be available worldwide this summer.

In other music news, Fall Out Boy just released their new song “Young And Menace” off their upcoming album, M A N I A, out in September. Avril Lavigne recently signed with BMG, and promises her sixth album will be out later this year. It will include songs about her battle with Lyme Disease. Ashley Tisdale is also reportedly working on her third album.

Soon enough we’ll get to see Charming and hear the three new songs in full. Keep checking back here for all the latest music news.
