Garbage Performs Brand New Song, “No Horses”

Last week, Garbage announced that they’re releasing a new song called “No Horses” this summer. They shared some lyrics for the “depressing” new song, and confirmed a music video is also on the way. Yesterday, Garbage kicked off their Rage And Rapture tour in Saratoga, CA with a live debut of “No Horses”! The song is as dark as the band promised, capturing the mood of ’90s alternative rock and throwing in some modern political troubles. Its studio version – and a music video – will be out soon. Watch Garbage perform “No Horses” below:

Garbage is currently touring North America with Blondie. Check out all remaining dates and get tickets before it’s too late!

Garbage released their last album, Strange Little Birds, one year ago. It gave us singles “Empty” and “Magnetized.” Since then, the band has released a cover of Cat Stevens’s “Where Do The Children Play?” and Shirley recorded vocals for two new American Gods songs. You can hear “Queen Of The Bored” now. Garbage has been working on at least four other songs in addition to “No Horses,” and with any luck, we may get a new album from them next year.

The band also just released a new book. Be sure to pick up This Is The Noise That Keeps Me Awake.

Keep checking back here for all the latest Garbage news. The studio version of “No Horses” – and its music video – should be out soon.
