Avril Lavigne Appears On New Song “Wings Clipped” With Grey & Anthony Green
Surprise, Avril Lavigne fans! Avril appears on a brand new song called “Wings Clipped” alongside Anthony Green. The song comes from Chameleon, the debut EP by production duo Grey. Made up of brothers Kyle and Michael Trewartha, Grey recently launched their music career with their hit “Starving” featuring Hailee Steinfeld and Zedd.
“Wings Clipped” starts with a strummed acoustic guitar and seemingly sunshiny vibes. Avril chimes in, singing about Sundays and learning things the hard way as the song moves into darker territory. The song suddenly gets edgier as electric guitar takes over ahead of a chopped-vocal breakdown. Avril’s part ends here, with Anthony Green taking over the song’s second verse and chorus. It’s an enchanting song, and presents an exciting new direction for Avril and music in general.
