Andrew McMahon In The Wilderness Performs New Song, “Ohio”

Last night, Andrew McMahon In The Wilderness kicked off their Pen And The Piano tour in Kansas City. Fans were in for a special treat, as the band debuted a brand new song called “Ohio” during their show! On top of that, fans in attendance say Andrew revealed that “Ohio” is part of an upcoming album that’s currently in the works.

“Ohio” is a nostalgic piano ballad that takes us to the midwest. Andrew paints a picture of his family uprooting from their Ohio home and driving across the country to relocate in California. While his California roots are thoroughly explored throughout his musical catalog, this is the first time Andrew has dived into his earlier childhood home. It’s a welcome change of scenery and a moving song.

Check out the live debut of “Ohio” below:

“Ohio” is not available to stream or download yet, but with this live debut, an official release is likely on the horizon.

Andrew McMahon In The Wilderness released their second album, Zombies On Broadway, just last year. Two months ago, they released the music video for its final single, “Shot Out Of A Cannon”. At the time, that was confirmed to be the last single from the record. It’s surprising to already have a new song to enjoy and an album in the works, but we’re not complaining!

More details will likely become available in the coming weeks. In the meantime, check out dates and tickets for the Pen And The Piano tour now before it’s too late. The tour will end in Denver on May 24th. As always, keep checking back here for all the latest Andrew McMahon In The Wilderness news.
