Lana Del Rey Teases New Song, “Happiness Is A Butterfly”
Lana Del Rey just dropped a new single, “hope is a dangerous thing for a woman like me to have – but i have it,” set to appear on her upcoming album, Norman Fucking Rockwell. Now, only two days later, she’s already teasing more songs from the forthcoming record. According to Shazam, the track is “Happiness Is A Butterfly” – which Lana first teased back in March 2018!
In the new Instagram clip, Lana sings that the guy she’s seeing may or may not be a serial killer… However, since she’s already hurt, she shrugs it off. In fact, she sees him as being hurt, too. Lana doesn’t want to leave him, though. Instead, she wants to dance. The new clip of “Happiness Is A Butterfly” sound fun, and it may be coming with a new music video soo, by the looks of it.
“Happiness Is A Butterfly” will appear on Norman Fucking Rockwell. Could it be the next single from it? Check out the teaser clip below:

Just two weeks ago, Lana shared another teaser. While its title is still unknown, Lana sings, “In your car I’m a star, and I’m burning through you.”
The new songs will appear on Lana’s upcoming album, Norman Fucking Rockwell, due out later this year. She’s teased numerous songs from the record already. Besides the two latest clips, Lana also teased a few other songs throughout October: “Cinnamon,” “Sylvia Plath,” and an unknown song featuring Machine Gun Kelly.
Lana has released three official singles so far: “Mariners Apartment Complex,” “Venice Bitch,” and “hope is a dangerous thing for a woman like me to have – but i have it.” She performed “How To Disappear” live, too.
However, the two short country songs that Lana performed in December are not likely to appear on the album.
Lana’s last album, Lust For Life, came out in July 2017. Lana entered the studio in January 2018, working with Jack Antonoff on the project. There’s no release date for Norman Fucking Rockwell yet, but it should be out by this spring.
