15 Songs From Natasha Bedingfield’s Upcoming Album Registered

Two months ago, Natasha Bedingfield finally finished recording her long-awaited new album, the follow-up to 2010’s Strip Me. After working in the studio off and on for several years, Natasha started over in spring 2018, this time working exclusively with Linda Perry. Earlier this month, after months of teasing, it looks like Natasha shot the cover art or filmed the music video for her comeback single, potentially a song called “Roller Skates.” In fact, “Roller Skates” is just one of 15 songs Natasha wrote with Linda Perry in the last year. All the new titles have recently been registered on ASCAP, and they may all appear on Natasha’s new album!

Below, you can see the ASCAP registration of all 15 songs. Natasha co-wrote each one with only Linda Perry. The titles include:

  1. Can’t Look Away
  2. Everybody Come Together
  3. Feel You In My Life
  4. Hey Poppa
  5. It Could Be Love
  6. Kick It
  7. King Of The World
  8. No Man I See
  9. Party Bus
  10. Real Love
  11. Roller Skates
  12. Sweet Nothing
  13. Ten To Zero
  14. Were We Going Now
  15. Wishful Thinking

These 15 songs follow years’ worth of songs Natasha wrote and likely recorded throughout the 2010s. You can see a full list of songs she wrote for album #4 here. Most likely, all the songs Natasha previously wrote with other collaborators will not appear on the new record. Instead, it will probably only feature the songs she wrote with Linda Perry. Alas, those earlier songs may go unreleased. You can also see a full list of unreleased songs by Natasha here.

In late 2017, Natasha signed with the label and management company, We Are Hear. In spring 2018, she began working with songwriter Linda Perry, writing and recording songs all the way until this January. All we know about the new music so far is that it will be soulful and have a “disco-retro vibe.”

We are so ready for a new Natasha Bedingfield album! Though we’ve had some quiet years recently, 2017 saw Natasha release four new songs, including “Let Go,” “Love Looks Like,” and “Hey Boy.” (The latter she wrote with current collaborator Linda Perry.) However, Natasha’s personal life took center stage later in the year. She announced her pregnancy that fall, and her son Solomon was born on December 31, 2017.

Last February, Natasha said she was “really determined to get some of the best music and art that I’ve made out and into your ears”. After months of her officially recording a new album, it’s exciting that Natasha’s new album is finally done! At this point, we’re certain we’ll get new music sometime in 2019!

More Natasha Bedingfield News

Natasha’s last album, Strip Me, came out an astonishing 8 years ago, in December 2010. Since then, Natasha has spent the better part of the past six years writing and recording, yet a full record still eludes us. Though we’ve gotten plenty of songs here and there over the years, fans are desperate for a full-length release. The good news is Natasha is officially finished recording a new album now! Whether she scrapped her work from her earlier sessions is unclear. But in any case, there’s new music to look forward to – maybe 15 songs’ worth! Indeed, we will finally get album #4 in the coming months.

It’s exciting to know that a new Natasha album is coming our way very soon! Catch up on all we know about the long-awaited fourth album. Keep checking back here for all the latest Natasha Bedingfield music news. We could be getting her comeback single in the next few weeks!
