Shakira Shares ‘El Dorado World Tour’ Live Film Trailer
Two weeks ago, Shakira announced her new live film, Shakira In Concert: El Dorado World Tour. It will premiere in over 2,000 theaters across more than 60 countries on November 13th, with a wider release expected after that. The concert film was shot at Shakira’s concert in Los Angeles at The Forum on August 28, 2018. In addition to live footage, it will also feature behind-the-scenes footage and narration by Shakira. James Merryman and Shakira directed the film. Today, fans can see a new trailer for the upcoming live film
The trailer packs a lot into its 30 seconds. It shows how Shakira overcame a “devastating vocal injury” which forced her to postpone her tour in 2017. But she made a “triumphant return,” leading her to tour around the world, receive widespread acclaim, and film her fourth concert DVD. In the trailer, hear clips of “Hips Don’t Lie,” “Chantaje,” and “Whenever, Wherever” and watch as Shakira plays guitar, plays drums, and dances across the stage.
