Last summer, Shakira announced her new live film, Shakira In Concert: El Dorado World Tour. It will premiere in over 2,000 theaters across more than 60 countries on November 13th, with a wider release expected after that. Now, with only a month to go before fans can see it, Shakira has just shared a live performance from the forthcoming film. Get to see a new clip of “Dare (La La La)” – from her 2014 album, Shakira – and “Waka Waka (This Time For Africa)” – from her 2010 album, Sale El Sol.
True to her signature style, the performance of “La La La” and “Waka Waka” is energetic. Shakira wears a broad feathered skirt as she dances about the stage. The upbeat songs are also great for crowd involvement, as Shakira gets her fans to sing and clap along. It’s a fun and vibrant performance, and it will inspire even more excitement to see the whole concert film when it airs in theaters next month.
Shakira In Concert: El Dorado World Tour was shot at Shakira’s concert in Los Angeles at The Forum on August 28, 2018. In addition to live footage, it will also feature behind-the-scenes footage and narration by Shakira. James Merryman and Shakira directed the film.
