Tove Lo Offers “Sweettalk My Heart” Lyric Video
Last month, Tove Lo released her new album, Sunshine Kitty. Following her singles “Glad He’s Gone,” the Alma-assisted “Bad As The Boys,” “Jacques” with Jax Jones, and “Really Don’t Like U” featuring Kylie Minogue, Tove celebrated the album release with a music video for her latest single, “Sweettalk My Heart.” Today, fans can learn the words karaoke-style in the song’s new lyric video.
“Sweettalk My Heart” is perhaps the most instantly infectious single from Sunshine Kitty so far. It starts off delicate, set against music box simplicity, but the chorus soars into something anthemic. This warm love song is raw in its emotions, yet completely relatable and made for an audience to sing along.
The lyric video builds from the intimacy of the song. Tove first appears in bed, floral wallpaper lending a sense of innocence. Wearing a knit top and white shorts, she dances on her bed throughout the video. Tove also sits in a blue-toned room, wearing a sheer white dress and dancing some more. It’s a simple lyric video that feels nostalgic and sweet.
