Next month, Alicia Keys will host the Grammys for the second year in a row. She was a natural earlier this year, so we’re glad to see her host again. Alicia recently spoke with Billboard about her upcoming hosting gig, reflecting on her past hits and awards, and what’s next for her in 2020. In addition to the Grammys and the release of her memoir, More Myself: A Journey, she is also releasing her 7th studio album, simply titled ALICIA.
Alicia’s album announcement doesn’t come with a release date or tracklisting, but we do suspect her three 2019 songs will make an appearance. This year, she released “Raise A Man,” “Show Me Love” featuring Miguel, and, most recently, “Time Machine.”
2020 isn’t so far off, and we’re excited to learn more about her upcoming album. Based on the songs we’ve heard so far, ALICIA could be her strongest record in years.
More From Alicia
Alicia’s last album, Here, came out in November 2016. Now, over three years later, ALICIA is just around the corner, with a trio of stunning songs to amp us up.
And that’s not all! Next year, Alicia will share her first book, More Myself: A Journey. Co-written by Michelle Burford, it’s being published by Flatiron Books and Oprah Winfrey’s new book imprint, An Oprah Book. More Myself: A Journey comes out on Tuesday, March 31, 2020.
Get ready to hear ALICIA in the new year, and be sure to enjoy her three latest songs while we wait. Stay tuned for more news on the album, and keep checking back here for all the latest music news.
