Sean Paul & Tove Lo Share “Calling On Me” Music Video
Last week, Sean Paul and Tove Lo unleashed their new collaboration, “Calling On Me.” The song is expected to appear on Sean Paul’s next album. Today, fans can see a new music video for the single.
Tove kicks off “Calling On Me” with the chorus, tapping into a stronger vocal tone than she normally uses. Sean raps the verses and pre-choruses. Throughout, they unite on a message of love and compassion. They say that whatever hard times you’re going through, they’ll be there for you. Sean and Tove want to heal your pain and erase your frustrations. The song could apply to a friend or family member, but it could also be a callout to our communities at large. We’re living in tough times – whether it’s environmental tragedies, political strife, or COVID-19 – and “Calling On Me” reminds us of the goodness in us all.
In the music video, Sean and Tove stand in front of a screen showing us the wonders of Mother Nature. We see rainforests and glaciers, open fields and crowds of our fellow humans. It’s simple but it works to amplify the song’s message.
