Gwen Stefani & Blake Shelton Drop Acoustic Version Of “Nobody But You”
Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton first shared their new duet, “Nobody But You,” when it appeared on Blake’s hits compilation, Fully Loaded: God’s Country, in December 2019. The song was an instant hit, and soon got an accompanying music video to bring its words to life. Now, the celebrity couple have shared a new acoustic version of the duet.
The differences between the original recording of “Nobody But You” and this acoustic version are minimal. It still opens with chiming guitars on the mid-tempo ballad, Blake kicking off the verse with rejections of leaving his town – and girl – behind. Gwen joins him in making their professions of love clear and choosing to stay together. The chorus is still big, albeit a tad softer, Gwen and Blake both affirming they don’t want to live without each other. The second half of the chorus moves lower, giving their words weight and meaning. Gwen with Blake throughout the second verse and following choruses, making it a true duet.
The updated “Nobody But You” also comes with a simple music video. Blake plays his acoustic guitar in the corner of wooden porch, Gwen by his side to sing along.

Gwen and Blake have been together since late 2015, their relationship inspiring much of Gwen’s last solo album, This Is What The Truth Feels Like. They’ve previously recorded two songs together already: “Go Ahead And Break My Heart (appearing on Blake’s album, If I’m Honest) in 2016 and “You Make It Feel Like Christmas” (from Gwen’s holiday album of the same name) in 2017. “Nobody But You” is their third collaboration so far.
More From Gwen
Although Gwen released a holiday album in 2017 – then re-released You Make It Feel Like Christmas in 2018 with five more songs – it’s been nearly four years since her last studio album, This Is What The Truth Feels Like. There’s been no word yet on if and when Gwen will record another solo album, let alone if she and No Doubt will ever reunite. While some new song titles allegedly appeared online, we’ve seen no confirmation of any new recording recently. But with luck, perhaps 2020 will bring more music from Gwen Stefani – whether solo or with the band.
