A few weeks ago, Shakira shared some updates from a Miami studio where she is working on her next album. At the time, she was collaborating with writers and producers Ali Tamposi, Andrew Watt, and The Monsters & Strangerz. Now, Shakira is working with some incredible new writers: Emily Warren and Ian Kirkpatrick!
Emily and Ian are well-established and know how to craft pop hits. Together, Emily and Ian are behind major singles like Dua Lipa’s “Don’t Start Now” and “New Rules.” Emily has also worked with the likes of Bebe Rexha, Khalid, and The Chainsmokers. Ian has worked with a wide array of artists, recently including Selena Gomez, Tove Lo, and Ellie Goulding.
According to Shakira, the song she worked on with Ian and Emily is incredible!
