BANKS is Choosing the Tracklisting for Her Next Album
BANKS fans, it’s almost time! After releasing the singles “The Devil” and “Skinnydipped” in the past few months, it looks like BANKS has officially finished recording her fourth studio album. In fact, she’s currently finalizing the tracklist… meaning we have announcements and a full album to look forward to in the very near future!
BANKS shared a new photo on Instagram with a simple but effective caption:
Just going over album track list hbu?
Right now, the only songs we know will be on the album are “The Devil” and “Skinnydipped,” though BANKS has teased several other clips on her social accounts. And while it’s not officially confirmed, it seems that her album will likely be titled Serpentina.
Further, we might have a collaboration with Tove Lo to get excited over. BANKS did collaborate with her earlier this year, although it’s unclear if we’ll actually get to hear the music they created, and it’s unclear whose album it will appear on. As it turns out, Tove Lo is also getting ready to release an album soon.
More From Banks
BANKS’ last album, simply titled III, came out in July 2019. It launched the singles “Gimme,” “Look What You’re Doing To Me,” and “Contaminated.”
In spring 2020, she released an EP, Live And Stripped. It included live, acoustic performances of “Stroke,” “Contaminated,” “Drowning,” and “If We Were Made Of Water.” All songs are taken from III, except “Drowning,” which was a single from her debut album, Goddess.
Are you as excited for the new album as we are? Do you have any predictions about the songs or how it will sound? Let us know in the comments! We have a lot to look forward to in the coming months, so keep checking back here for all the latest BANKS music news.
