Hilary Duff – Most Wanted

On August 16, 2005, Hilary Duff released her first compilation album, Most Wanted. After releasing only two studio albums, it would be hard to call this a greatest hits album, but it was comprised primarily of Hilary's previous singles and other standout tracks. However, the release also included special goodies that fans would appreciate. Hilary recorded four brand new songs - "Wake Up," "Break My Heart," "Beat Of My Heart," and "Supergirl" - that showed her going in a more dance-pop direction. Most Wanted also included new remixes of old songs as well as a few harder-to-find songs that appeared on special editions of Hilary's first two records. Most Wanted was promoted with two singles: "Wake Up" debuted at number 29 on the Billboard Hot 100 in the US and at number 7 in the UK, while the repetitive "Beat Of My Heart" was less successful. Like Hilary Duff, Most Wanted received undue criticism from reviewers. However, most reviews did praise the four new songs, indicating a step in the right direction.
