Kelly Clarkson – All I Ever Wanted

Kelly Clarkson's 4th studio album, All I Ever Wanted, came out on March 10, 2009. "My Life Would Suck Without You" was released as the first single in January, and its catapult from #99 to #1 on the Hot 100 earned it a new record for biggest chart leap to #1 in history. (Kelly had previously held this record for her debut single, "A Moment Like This.") "My Life Would Suck Without You" was a huge hit, but its follow up, "I Do Not Hook Up," was not quite so successful. Kelly's third single was one she had written with Ryan Tedder. "Already Gone" was released in summer 2009, and the ballad became a decent hit. However, comparisons to Beyoncé's single "Halo" (also co-written by Ryan Tedder) resulted in some negative buzz surrounding "Already Gone." 

All I Ever Wanted was a very upbeat and pop album, especially compared to Kelly's previous effort, the dark and raw My December. It was more of the pop followup to Breakaway that the world might have expected. Highlights on the album include the title track, "If I Can't Have You," "Already Gone," "I Want You," and the bonus track "The Day We Fell Apart."
