In April 2007, Natasha Bedingfield released her second album, N.B., for her fans in the United Kingdom. But those in the United States had to wait nearly a year for their second album. Rather than release N.B., Natasha ended up releasing Pocketful Of Sunshine on January 22, 2008. The album featured six of the N.B. songs as well as 7 completely new songs. The first single from Pocketful Of Sunshine was "Love Like This," a duet with reggae pop singer Sean Kingston. The title track served as the second single, and was the biggest hit on the album. "Pocketful Of Sunshine" reached number 5 on the Billboard Hot 100 (as "Unwritten" had a few years before), and ended up being the best-selling single of her career. Followup singles "Angel" and "Soulmate" faired worse on charts despite positive reviews. Pocketful Of Sunshine debuted at number 3 on the Billboard 200 albums chart, safely avoiding any risk of a sophomore slump.
