Sara Bareilles – Unreleased Songs

Although we’ve heard dozens of officially released songs from Sara Bareilles, she’s even more prolific than her discography would let on. Here is a complete list of all known songs that were never officially released. This includes recorded songs that have leaked in some form, songs that have been performed live, and unheard songs for which we have a title but little - if any - additional information.

Sara began her career performing songs live, and we have many recordings from before her major label debut album, Little Voice. While songs like "The Artist" or "King Restless" appeared on her two live albums in 2003, others were never officially released. Sara continued to perform new songs throughout her career, from "Little Devil" to "Free Ride" to "Only Shadows." We have a couple of live songs ("August Moon" and "I Just Want You") that were officially included on Sara's live albums, but not released in studio form.

Additionally, several demo recordings have leaked over the years. Recordings like "Goodbye Song," "Splintering," and "If I Had My Way" have appeared online, but officially released studio recordings remain elusive.

Finally, we also know of numerous songs that have never been heard - not as a demo nor studio recording nor live performance. These titles have either been registered officially with a mechanical or performance rights organization - like ASCAP or HFA - or been revealed in Sara's own social media content. In general, very little is know about those songs.
