Simple Plan Shares Update On Recording Upcoming 6th Album

After releasing Taking One For The Team back in February 2016, Simple Plan finally began working on their upcoming 6th album late last year. They started writing in fall 2018, and have shared some updates as they went, revealing they were writing with Travis Clark of We The Kings. Earlier this year, Simple Plan frontman Pierre Bouvier took to Instagram to gush about their “phenomenal” new music. Now, the band is getting back in the studio to start recording!

They shared a handful of new pictures today, sharing:

We’re hard at work creating new music for you and we can’t wait to share. Who’s excited for #SPAlbum6 ??? ??????????????

Update 5/22: As before, Pierre Bouvier and Chuck Comeau have been writing with Travis Clark of We The Kings:

At this point, Simple Plan is still in the early stages of making their 6th album. They’re still writing and demoing songs – many with the help of Travis Clark from We The Kings – but seem to be ready to start officially recording and producing the album, too. The band members have previously stated that they want to record this album faster. With any luck, we’ll have a full new Simple Plan album out by the end of this year! By all accounts, it should be phenomenal!
