Vanessa Carlton Shares Live “Matter Of Time” Video

Vanessa Carlton has been on tour for most of the fall and winter, and during that time a song of hers was filmed for all to enjoy: “Matter Of Time” is a lovely ballad off of her latest album, Liberman, and it forgoes her signature piano for a simple guitar accompaniment. Vanessa is a singer who frequently sounds even better live, and this performance of “Matter Of Time” captures the magic of her singing and songwriting beautifully.  See the live video of “Matter Of Time” below:

The performance was filmed in Nashville on December 17th, and features Vanessa’s husband, John McCauley, on guitar. They are joined by Skye Steele on violin and the Watson twins as background vocalists. Jesse DeFlorio directed, filmed, and edited the video.

Vanessa’s latest album, Liberman, came out last October. It was preceded by the singles “Blue Pool,” “Willows,” and “Operator,” and the song “House Of Seven Swords” was also released in November. You can buy Liberman on iTunes now. Keep checking back here for all the latest Vanessa Carlton news.
