Editors Already Recording “New Tunes” For Next Album
Great news, Editors fans! The band is already in the studio working on new tunes! It’s been less than a year since they released their stunning sixth record, Violence. (It was one of our favorites of 2018.) After extensive touring and four singles – “Magazine,” “Hallelujah (So Low),” “Darkness At The Door,” and “Cold” – the band members worked on separate projects for a couple months. Frontman Tom Smith rejoined his other group, Smith & Burrows, to perform a brand new song. “All The Best Moves” is set to appear on their long-awaited second album together. Tom also appeared on a song with UNKLE called “The Other Side” last December.
Now, Editors have regrouped to write and record new music together. Does this mean album #7 is already on the way? Check out the band’s exciting studio posts below:
“I know you better than you know yourself…” – is that a line from a new song?
At this point, it’s too early to say when we’ll get to hear the new music. While an album could be ready by the end of this year, 2020 may be a safer bet.
