Tove Lo Celebrates ‘Sunshine Kitty’ With “Sweettalk My Heart” Video
Today, Tove Lo finally released her new album, Sunshine Kitty! To celebrate its release, Tove also just shared the music video for her latest single, “Sweettalk My Heart.” She only shared the song this Wednesday, two days before the album’s release. It follows the singles “Glad He’s Gone,” and the Alma-assisted “Bad As The Boys,” and “Jacques” with Jax Jones, and “Really Don’t Like U” featuring Kylie Minogue.
“Sweettalk My Heart” is perhaps the most instantly infectious single from Sunshine Kitty so far. It’s a warm love song that’s raw in its emotions, yet anthemic and built for an audience to sing along.
When she shared the “Sweettalk My Heart” audio two days ago, Tove shared:
It was when I wrote this song I realized my 4th album was in the works. The new music video starts with an exhausted Tove Lo returning to her apartment late one night. But she craves love, and instead of getting it from another person, she gets oddly intimate with her surroundings. She peels apart the floor, crawls through hidden tunnels behind her oven, and ultimately stumbles upon self-love.
