‘An Evening With Silk Sonic’ Finally Has a Release Date!

We’ve known since late February that Silk Sonic (aka, Bruno Mars and Anderson .Paak) were going to release an album called An Evening With Silk Sonic. But although we’ve heard the “Intro” and two singles from it – “Leave The Door Open” and “Skate” – the duo have kept quiet on the album’s release date. Until now, that is. Today, in addition to celebrating Bruno’s birthday, we can also celebrate the album’s official release date: November 12th!

Check out the simple announcement below:

You can pre-order or pre-save An Evening With Silk Sonic from all the major music providers here. Pre-orders come with instant downloads of “Intro,” “Leave The Door Open,” and “Skate.”

The album will include six other tracks, for a total of nine songs. We don’t yet know the names of the other tracks; we only know that “Intro” and “Leave The Door Open” take up the first two slots, and “Skate” is track eight.

There’s only a month left now! Get read to hear the full album in five weeks.

More from Bruno Mars

Bruno’s last album, 24K Magic, came out in November 2016; he ultimately won six Grammys for it and its singles. It launched the singles “24K Magic,” “That’s What I Like,” and “Versace On The Floor,” plus a duet version of “Finesse” featuring Cardi B. In February 2019, Bruno and Cardi teamed up again for a new song called “Please Me.” The previous year, Bruno had also collaborated with Gucci Mane and Kodak Black on the single, “Wake Up In The Sky.”

More from Anderson .Paak

Anderson’s last album, Ventura, came out in April 2019, only five months after his previous album. Ventura launched the singles “King James” and “Make It Better” (featuring Smokey Robinson).
