Tyson Ritter Talks Fun New All-American Rejects Songs Due In April, Shares Lyrics

Last week, Tyson Ritter of The All-American Rejects shared some previews of three new songs the band recorded in January. These songs – as well as those they recorded last summer – are set to appear on a new EP later this year. Now we know a little bit more about the music and when we can hear it thanks to Tyson.

First, Tyson confirmed that the new Rejects songs are “just plain FUN to listen to.” This makes sense, given how their new song “DGAF” sounds. Although we’ve only heard it live, a music video is in the works. He also revealed that the new music may be out as soon as April!

Then today, Tyson excited fans even more with some possible song lyrics:

It comes and goes around
Burn your bridges down
Kiss the ground and turn the other cheek
Close your eyes one last time for me

Those lyrics weren’t in any of the song snippets we heard last week. Is it part of one of those tracks, or from another one we haven’t heard yet?

In a few months – possibly in April – fans will finally get to hear the band’s new EP.  While we wait, enjoy the Rejects’ latest song, “There’s A Place,” from the film Miss You Already. Look for Tyson in it!
