Natasha Bedingfield Promises We’re “Together In This” in New Single
Last week, Natasha Bedingfield revealed plans to release a new song, “Together In This,” part of the children’s film, Jungle Beat. Today, both the movie and song are available for all to enjoy. The single also comes with a sweet music video, highlighting the film while also tying in with our current pandemic.
“Together In This,” written by Jonas Myrin, is an upbeat song set against a jungly drum beat. Natasha sings of needing hope and light in difficult times. Luckily, we’re not alone. As she promises in the chorus, we’re together with our brothers and sisters, and whatever you’re going through, it’s going to get better. The song is irresistible no matter your age.
Its accompanying music video starts with Natasha walking into her house at night, looking lonely as she opens her laptop. But she smiles when she sees Jonas on her screen. Soon, it’s a whole dance party as people and animated animals alike groove onscreen from their respective homes. The video reminds us that we’re not alone, even when we’re physically apart. It’s also a subtle way to incorporate the Jungle Beat characters.

Natasha & Children’s Productions
“Together In This” isn’t the first song Natasha has recorded for a children’s movie or show. In fact, Natasha has contributed two other songs in the past decade.
Back in January 2014, Natasha contributed a song to Disney’s animated film, The Pirate Fairy. The movie starred Tinker Bell alongside Natasha’s empowering song, “Who I Am.” The full song finally came out in April 2014.
Then in spring 2017, we got “More Of Me,” a cute song Natasha recorded for Disney Channel’s show, Tangled: The Series. The lyrics were very true to Rapunzel, but they were also universally relatable.
Both of those songs preceded the birth of Natasha’s son. Solomon was born on New Year’s Eve at the end of 2017. Now two and a half years old, he’ll surely be enjoying his mom’s new song and movie!
Roll With Me
Last August, Natasha Bedingfield released Roll With Me, her first album in nine years. It launched the singles “Roller Skate,” “Kick It,” and “Everybody Come Together,” as well as a North American tour last fall. Following such a long gap between albums, Roll With Me was a welcome return, and one of our favorite albums of 2019.
