Natasha Bedingfield’s “Adorable” New Single is a Playful, Sultry Bop
Last week, Natasha Bedingfield previewed a new song, “Adorable,” during a livestream. And even though she only just released her single “Lighthearted” in June, we lucky fans already get to hear “Adorable” now! The title is fitting, too, because this song is playful and has serious replay value.
“Adorable” is instantly bubbly and fun, with a beat inspiring joyous dancing. In the first verse, Natasha lightly scolds her man for not doing what she asks him to do… but she concedes that she’s not perfect, either. The chorus bursts in on a wave of cheer, Natasha saying that she doesn’t love the way he loves her, but she usually agrees that she’s lucky to be with him. Indeed, even when he’s horrible, he’s still adorable. And hot. The song is cute and a tad sultry, and it’s our favorite new song from Natasha in the past couple of years.

Natasha has been in the studio frequently lately, so we hope a full album is on the horizon. It’s been nearly two years since her last record, Roll With Me, so we’re ready for more where that came from!

In August 2019, Natasha Bedingfield released Roll With Me, her first album in nine years. It launched the singles “Roller Skate,” “Kick It,” and “Everybody Come Together,” as well as a North American tour that fall. Following such a long gap between albums, Roll With Me was a welcome return, and one of our favorite albums of 2019.
Last year in June, Natasha shared a song called “Together In This,” which was part of the children’s movie, Jungle Beat. That song was written by her good friend, musician Jonas Myrin.
Just six months ago, Natasha shared a live performance of a new song called “The United States Of Us.” She suggested that an official release of the song would happen, but didn’t indicate when. She co-wrote it with Jonas Myrin, the same writer of “Together In This.”
Natasha’s single “Lighthearted” followed in June, and now we already have a second single in “Adorable.”
